这是电影《John Q》，中文名《迫在眉睫》的片尾曲。
男主角“丹泽尔·华盛顿”（Denzel Washington）将无助的父亲演绎的淋漓尽致，超豪华的配角阵容也增色不少。本来此片将是2001年奥斯卡奖的有力竞争者，但由于档期实在尴尬，落得一个叫好叫座却无奖可拿的境地。
克林顿时代的美国，终于重启经济的发动机。但贫富差距继续恶化，社会矛盾重重，尤其是社会保险体制难堪重负，纵有改革之心，却无力回天。
就是这样，无力回天的善良父亲终于举起暴力对抗的枪炮，在与国家机器的对抗中，他赢得了大多数的同情。法无可恕，但情有可原。其实，一个正常的理性的社会，不也恰恰应该不时聆听大多数的内心的声音吗!
